Sailors were welcomed to Chestertown to ideal sailing conditions. Wind from the West started at 5kts and built over the course of the day to a brisk 10kts with some big puffs. Sailors raced in combined divisions with a short lunch break. After race 9, racing was abandoned due to weather at 3 PM. With the lightning forecast for the rest of the day and the poor conditions tomorrow, RC made the decision to end the regatta at 9 races. Thank you to the Washington College sailors who all had a turn at running RC throughout the day. Thank you to all teams for coming to race and congratulations to WAC for winning the Central Fall 1.
