Nice weather but a tough wind direction to start the Women's ACC Round 1B qualifier at the Edgewood Yacht Club and the Ted Turner '60 Sailing Pavilion. It was a light, mainly easterly direction at 3-8 knots for the first two races in each division. After race 2B, the wind was too light and unstable so both divisions were postponed a shore for almost 2 hours. At around 2:30pm the easterly started to settle back in as the low lying clouds moved out. Some awesome racing for the rest of the day in 5-10 knots with a few higher puffs and shifty East conditions. 8 races were completed for the day in each division with A-division in FJs and B-division in 420s. All courses were W4's. One protest was filed that resulted in a DSQ and one redress was denied. The top 9 teams qualify for the Women's ACC's in a few weeks at the U.S. Naval Academy.
Thanks to judges Neil Williamson, Taylor Eastman, and Connor Macken. Thanks to ICSA Rep Amanda Callahan.
A-division will sail 420s and B-division FJs for Sunday with a 10am first warning for race 9A.
Only two races were completed in each division on day two due to light and unstable winds from the east. All courses were W4's with A-division in 420s and B-division in FJs.
Thanks to judges Neil Williamson, Taylor Eastman, and Connor Macken (Saturday) and to ICSA Rep Amanda Callahan and photographer Rob Migliaccio. Thanks as well to all of the Brown sailors who helped out.
Congratulations to Cornell on winning the Women's ACCs Round 1B and to the top 9 teams on qualifying for the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
