The race conditions were consistent with winds ranging from 5 to 7 knots, though there were notable shifts that kept the competitors on their toes. To take advantage of the favorable forecast, most of the races were conducted on this day, with the course set for 15 to 20-minute races. A total of 14 races (7 per division) were completed, with one race requiring a windward mark change due to a significant 180-degree wind shift. The regatta was effectively managed by race officers Sean Bazzocchi and Nathan Lemke, supported by Emmanuel, Megan, and Nathan, providing valuable assistance. The last race finished at 1600.
The day began with no wind for the first two hours, prompting an AP signal and a team yoga session on the beach. Around 11:30, an unexpected wind filled in from the opposite direction of the forecast, leading to the launch of boats and course setup. Unfortunately, a 180-degree wind shift during the first lap led to the abandonment of the race as the RC boat was swung into the gate. After an hour-long AP, conditions improved, allowing the completion of 4 races (2 per division) by 1400. The race committee was led by Sean and Nathan, who managed the day with perseverance despite challenging conditions.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
