Sunday's breeze was the exact opposite of yesterday's craziness. The forecast was predicted to be light to nothing and rain. Sailors arrived as the drizzle subsided, and within about an hour, some wind piped up out of the south, stable enough to race in. At the competitor's meeting, sailors were reminded about Rule 42 violations that often occur in light air races, especially when the breeze is dying.
The Reese's Cup was sailed in a CD format with 18 boats on the line. Course 4 was set in about 5-8 mph breeze, allowing the RC to get two races off before the breeze shut down completely. The fleet waited to see if the small puffs would stith themselves together across the course. The lull between races lasted for about 30 minutes, and then, sure enough, a light southeasterly showed up. The final race was pulled off with Boston University taking home the coveted King Sized Reese's bar hoping to display the wrapper (the contents were likely not going to make it back to Boston) in fine fashion in the BU boathouse as the first Reese's Cup Trophy, with Maine Maritime in second..
No protests were filed. Thanks to the coaches who supported the fleet on the two out and the Wildcats who managed the course/mark/photography/RC boats.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
