Teams arrived to Carolina Yacht Club around 9:00am and the first race started at 10:00am in Banks Channel. To start of the racing the wind was around 10 -12 knots. The tide switched around 10 o'clock and started coming in for the rest of the day. Around 12:00pm the wind died down to about 8 knots, then picking back up to 15+ knots after 1:30pm. Storms rolled in around 3:00pm and forced race committee to call of racing for the rest of the day. When it was all said and done, each division ran 6 races per division in a variety of wind conditions.
