Day 1 was sunny and warm with a high of 77 degrees. Breeze was light out of the WSW building to 5-8 knots at 1130.
6 races were completed in both divisions before breeze shut off, and became to variable to begin a race.
Competitors enjoyed an early departure at 1630, a with the plan to complete 8 races Sunday.
1 protest resulted in 1 DSQ. Thank you to umpire Sam Hahn for hearing the protest, along with coaches Janel Z and Conner Mraz.
Sunday brought 10-15, gusting to 23 out of the NE. It’s also came with lots of rain and colder temps.
A soaking wet/cold RC and competitors completed 8 races in both divisions. Races were comprised of W4 and W3 to facilitate rotation of the 14 boat fleets.
