Drizzle greeted sailors at Mendums. Monster Dogs and hot Wildcat Cider were a hit. Chris Loder spoke about living one's life fully and now doing so with integrity.
The very light, shifty breeze only allowed the A division to get two races off, and after rotation, the B fleet drifted around, waiting patiently for the wind to sweep across the course. There were puffs of hope but not enough nor consistent enough to get any B races off. The predicted left shift didn't show up until after the sailors were sent in late in the afternoon.
B Division will start out tomorrow with report time at 9:30. Grilled Wildcat Muffins and coffee will be available starting at 9:15
What a day! Sailors were greeted with fantastic, shifty, breezy conditions. Puffs ranged from 13-20, with several capsizes. Always remember to pull your boat up with the mast pointed away from the wind unless you plan on practising a California Roll. Wildcat Muffins and coffee started the day, with several Reece's Races finishing the day.
Congratulations to Conn College for winning the Chris Loder Trophy in fine fashion. Thanks to Lisa Downey from MSM for being the ICSA/NEISA rep and for the many coaches present to hear several breakdowns and a redress situation. Super thanks to the many Wildcats who staffed the regatta in the mark boat, RC boat, shore duty, scoring and shepherding all the photographers around. I know Chris Loder, Dave Curtis, and Parker Finklestein appreciated the ride.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
