The 82nd Professor Schell Trophy

Summary

Saturday, October 28:

Amazing weather conditions on the Charles River today with temps in the upper 70's and a Westerly wind around 7-10 knots with gusts to 14 knots. RC ran 10 races in each division with A division in 420's sailing outer trapezoids and B division in FJ's sailing inner trapezoids.

MIT Parents hosted an open house for all of the visiting parents on the roof deck.

2 protests were heard resulting in 2 DSQ's and one redress was denied.

Thanks to MIT dockmaster Dan Tucker and MIT assistant coach Aine O'Donnell for help running the races.

Sunday, October 29:

It was a frustrating day with huge wind swings from NW to SE but after an hour of waiting, 4 races were run in each division.
