Late start as wind did not cooperate at 10AM for first warning. It filled in from the S-SW with big oscillations. We were able to get 2 races for the 420 fleet racing the Big Red Invite, and 1 race for FJ racing the Jack Boehringer '52 Memorial.
Thank you for all the coaches who helped a lot with the course. great team work by everyone.
Today started with great south wind the entire time we were rigging. By the time we headed out the wind started to die and we had both fleets on the course, and once again needed to abandon both races. We waited and as forecasted, with a bit delay, the west wind filled in. It was unstable and puffy but that's how it is here in Cayuga Lake with West winds. We were able to complete 8 races for each fleet.
Congratulations to Penn for winning the Jack Boehringer '52 Memorial Regatta. A 3 division combined event, 2nd were Cornell following in 3rd by our neighbors Hobart and William Smith.
At the Big Red Invite, Freshman Devling '26 topped the score board sailing with Sophia Fogarty '25 and Isabel Dhar '23 followed by Penn in 2nd Samuel Gavula '24 and Joshua Zeelander '24, Completing top 3 in 3rd were Penn sailors Madeleine Rice '24 & Eva Gonzalez-Whitehouse '26.
I want to thank all the teams and coaches for helping on the racecourse and traveling to the Big Red. Your support is appreciated!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
