Wrightsville Beach, NC delivered a great 1st day for the Fall Season SAISA Coed Champs. We had all 12 qualifying teams represented. The Race Committee started straight after the Women's Champs conclusion at around 3:00pm. We had breeze ranging from 12 to 16 knots from the West. 6 races were completed for A Division and 3 races were completed for B division. B Division will start off the day tomorrow for the final day of the regatta.
A chilly morning to start the 2nd day of the Fall Season SAISA Coed Champs. We had a windy morning decreasing throughout the day out of the West. 6 races were completed for A Division and 9 races were completed for B division which got us to our target of 12 races in each. Congratulations to College of Charleston for winning the event with 79 points, NC State in 2nd and University of Miami in 3rd. A big thanks to our Race Committee, Chip Till, Mark DeGuire, Mary DeGuire, the Carolina Yacht Club and UNCW for putting on a great weekend of sailing.
