Just two races completed today, with a third abandoned when the breeze died at 5:20. Both races were sailed in 3-4 knots out of the ESE, just above the wind minimum.
Sunny skies and much better breeze greeted the competitors this morning. Eight races were sailed in ten knots out of the NE, trending right to ESE by the end of the day. Strong outgoing tide through the afternoon hours made for long runs. Many thanks to our judges John Pratt and Sterling Worrell, and to all the NEISA teams that brought coach boats to the event. Congratulations to Sophia Reineke ‘22 from Boston College on the championship win!
The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
