Laser South

Summary

Saturday, September 11:

After a short postponement ashore, teams made their way to the Bembe Beach area of Annapolis Harbor to kick off the 2021 Fall College Sailing season.

The bulk of the racing was done in a SE breeze ranging from 5 - 12 kts. A significant wind shift brought a full course reset for the final race of the day, which was sailed in a very tricky SW breeze containing plenty of directional swings and pressure changes.

Sunday, September 12:

Day 2 brought a SW breeze ranging from 6 - 12 kts that stuck around all day. While the race track was set up further away from shore today to account for the direction, teams still played in a tricky condition - managing plenty of oscillations throughout.

Congratulations to the top 9 who will move on to the MAISA Men's Singlehanded Conference Championship.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
