Today, on the friendly confines of Lake Virginia, four Florida schools put ten Rollins FJs through their paces for three hours of one-division competition in a SAISA "friendly."
Conditions were tactical, as light, but surprisingly steady breezes from the west kept the competitors guessing.
Rollins and Florida Gulf Coast traded places atop the leader board for most of the day, with Florida Gulf Coast pulling ahead for good just before the wind died down.
The team had traveled since well before sunrise from south Florida to compete in the Lake Virginia Fall Invitational, and made it count with bullets in two of the four races.
U of F and Rollins claimed the other two first place finishes. Palm Beach Atlantic and Embry Riddle were in the mix as well, with both claiming a second place finish.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
