Sailors arrived to lovely but shifty conditions on Lake Anna this morning. Winds started out about 5 kts in the morning. As the day progressed, winds picked up rapidly ending with gusts to 25 kts in the afternoon accompanied by some heavy rain. We ended the day at 1500, having abandoned race 6a due to the winds. Racing will resume at 1030 on Sunday with race 5b.
Sailors arrived to shifty winds of 5 knots. Winds continued to oscillate and pick up to about 12 kt throughout the day, making for some challenging conditions. Congratulations to Virginia Tech for their victory this weekend and thank you to all the teams who came down to Lake Anna this weekend!
