Teams started off the morning with some Bates-famous donuts from the one and only Italian Bakery in downtown Lewiston. On the water, teams sailed W4s in the strong northerly with consistent 10-12 breeze and gusts to 18 knots. One full set was sailed with four A-division races and four B-division races before a brief lunch break. The wind laid down in the afternoon to a trademark Taylor Pond 4-5 knot breeze. Due to time constraints, only one additional W2 was able to be sailed by each division before the 3PM time limit. One protest was filed, but was later withdrawn.
A big thank you to Alli Fischman '23, Coach Peter Garcia, and Coach Jared Reineck of WIT for running races.
Congratulations to the Bates Bobcats for winning the first annual Frye Street Invite!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
