Saturday, November 13th began with an 85 degree beach day postponement in sunny Santa Barbara. Sitting ashore is never what a sailor wants, but after a year away, the conference appeared grateful to catch up in an outdoor setting in gorgeous sunshine. Fortunately, the postponement was not permanent as breeze filled just after 12:20. At about 1:00pm racing got under way in a 4-5 knots from 210 degrees. Wind shifted right to 230 degrees and maxed out at 7-10 knots allowing for completion of 10 total races before the wind shut off and began to come from the east. The JV course continued to race until sunset finishing 5a races and 3b races. There were no protests. Thank you to PRO Lucas Pierce (varsity course) and Sidney Gathrid (JV course).
Another gorgeous day at the beach but light on wind for sailing. Postponement eventually will ended around 12:00 and racing got under way. Just enough breeze was present to allow for 8 more races. Congratulations to the UCSB Gauchos, who took home the wins in all three fleets (coed, women, & JV). Thank you very much to PRO Lucas Pierce (class of 2021 alumni).

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
