Not much wind, 0-5 from generally West kept the sailors ashore studying much of the day. One attempt to start was made at about 12:30. Finally the sea breeze filled at 3:30 for one set in ESE 3-7. A second set was attempted but the wind was too light. One puff filled down which was enough to get the fleet ashore.
Thanks to port-line boat Taro Sochi and scorekeeper Wells Drayton.
Better forecast and better breeze. A bit hard at first with a South wind fighting the SW wind but the SW wind prevailed with temps in the 80s! Wind started at 3-8 and built to 7-14. Eight more races (four before lunch, four after) for ten total in the combined division fleet.
Thanks to port-line boat Harper McKerrow, scorekeeper Niall Sheridan, and dock crew Marley Hillman. With sharp eyes in the port-line boat, no general recalls. A couple protests hailed, none heard.
Congrats to the Jumbo sailors for defending home turf but Brown's B team of Jack Murphy/Izzy Cox were right there the whole time. Murphy sailed high school on Mystic Lake with Belmont Hill. Yale's freshmen skippers with veteran crews had a good battle for second with BU. Harvard was leading after day one but a minor car accident left them without an "A" boat on Sunday.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
