Another great day of sailing on Lake Mendota. We got in 16 races, 8 per division, before 1730. The day started out with light breeze, 5-6 mph , from the west, shifting to the north west. Then at about 1200, the wind dropped to about 3-4 mph from the north west. But at about 1500 the winds picked up to 10-12 mph, from nearly due north allowing for some great last 4 races.
Sunday started out strong with a 6-8 mph wind coming out of the east, occasionally oscillating more towards Northeast and gusting up to 12 mph in the biggest puffs. Today we got off six successful and competitive races, thanks to all the help provided by Steve Johnson for being our PRO all weekend. Additionally, we would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped the regatta run smoothly and the competition from the MCSA for their great spirit. At the end of the day, Notre Dame took home the victory, winning both A and B division. In second was the Wisconsin Honey Badgers and coming in third place was the Wisconsin Red team.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
