A frustrating day on the water for competitors and RC alike. A northwest breeze died into a NE breeze then an E breeze and back again to NW before going flat calm. The it came in SE, went to S, back to E and then the southerly came back with flat spots.
Yale, Brown, Harvard, and Tufts are locked up in a tight battle. Only three races were completed today and report time has been shifted to 0900 tomorrow with first race at 0930.
Many thanks to Paige Omura, Trevor Long and Alex Moreno who were on hand to umpire and judge the event.

The Brown Bears put down a beating in the strong breeze and torrential conditions on the Charles River today. Brown sailors Ragna Agerup with Julia Reynolds and Emma Montgomery took A Division honors while teammates Connor Nelson and Madeline McGrath won B Division handily. Yale sailed very well finishing in second overall in both Divisions as well as overall. The BU Terriers were in third and fourth through ninth positions were schools separated by only 23 points. NEISA demonstrated the Conference's great depth with more competitive teams in the hunt than even the top 9 final positions reflect.
Lots of fun sailing today with great dockstaff assistance by Wally Corwin and Conan Hom keeping things organized during boat rotations. Mike Kalin and Mike Kanare assisted in mark tweaking all day as the breeze backed to the left in small increments during the afternoon
The Presidents of MIT, Harvard, and Tufts to watch the sailing action at about noon. They took a rain check on going out for a sail together along with their spouses. There was ample swimming for entertainment by a few of the competitors.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
