After a pleasant and windy day of racing, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos finished first in the Frosh/Soph Regatta. Saturday was cool and overcast and the wind maintained a comfortable 8-12 knots throughout the day. This was the first regatta of the college sailing season, and the UCSD sailing team was both proud and excited to host 15 teams at the Mission Bay Yacht Club to kick off the season. The courses sailed were W3s, W4s, and W5s, and there were no protests on Saturday.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
