Teams arrived at the Willamette Sailing Club to good weather with light but steady winds from the north. Soon after getting the boats on the water light, variable winds shifting between NE to NN-W were experienced. A concern for finishing races was expressed by the race committee so shorter courses were set in order to get through the first rotation. Winds remained light and variable but steady enough to finish three races in division A and two in division B.
A southerly front had moved in overnight and racing started off quickly with a good 5-8 knots of breeze. Seven races were held in good, steady conditions building to a max wind speed around 12 knots before the wind shut off and postponed on shore was called. After waiting out a brief intense rain and thunderstorm conditions improved enough to finish the last two races and finish the event with seven races in A and B.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
