This was the inaugural Navy Women's Open and it was a great event! The racing was very tight all around the race course. Today started with rain, then there was a brief dry spell, then it rained again to end the day. Eight races were sailed in a 10-18 knot northeasterly. No protests were filed and no breakdowns occurred. Tomorrow's forecast looks like it should be wet and wild!
Today began with a lovely 15 knot Northeasterly and a soaking rain. Four races were sailed before the wind clocked east and built to a sustained 25 with gusts in the high twenties. At this point the organizers decided to cancel racing for the day since the wind was only forecast to continue to build. No protests or breakdowns were filed. Congratulations to the University of Pennsylvania for winning the inaugural Navy Women's Open.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
