Six sailors braved marginal (4-6 knot) sailing conditions on Tampa Bay Saturday. After a 2 hour delay onshore, the first few races were sailed in ENE winds, then SSE, then finally WSW. Thanks to coaches Alan Capellin, Jon Faudree, and Mitch Hall who helped as mark set, staying busy adjusting to the windshifts. All races were W4's.
Charleston's Kelly-Ann Arrindell dominated, winning 4 out of 6 races. The competition for the second qualifying spot for Nationals was tight, with three sailors, Marian Frances Williams (CoC), Sarah Streater (USF), and Courtney Purcell (JU) within 2 points with 2 races remaining. The final results were in that order, with CoC ultimately picking up both berths to Nationals.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
