Today marked the beginning of many team's fall sailing competitions. At Navy, we had a beautiful but oddly chilly morning with wind out of the North at 8 knots. Lots of motor boat traffic forced Race Committee to move further off shore into Whitehall Bay where fluky winds persisted all afternoon and into the evening. 8 Races were completed today and no protests or breakdowns were filed.
This morning began with a casual cruise out past greenbury point to the race course. The morning began with a 12-15 knot northerly, that died throughout the day to 5-8 knots. Six races were sailed and sailors were back on shore by 1400. There were no protests filed.
