Summary

Saturday, October 7:

A great day of racing on Harpswell Sound. 10 races were completed in a SE breeze ranging from 5-10 knots. The current was a major factor all day. All races were W-4s. A huge thank you to the Barnett Family for their continued support of the regatta and the Polar Bears. Eight more races are schedule for tomorrow. Harvard has built a large lead followed by BU, Tufts, and Bowdoin. Forecast is for breeze tomorrow.

Sunday, October 8:

Day 2 of the Barnett Trophy featured big breeze and waves out of the SW. 5 races with complete. Courses were triangles plus W-3s and W-4s. A huge thank you to Alex Levin, John Ingalls, and Bern Noack for helping with rescues. Thanks to Peter Newstein '19 and Elijah Berger '21 for moving marks and dealing with rotations. Thanks to all the Polar Bear undergrads and the Barnett Family for their support of the event. Congrats to Harvard for winning for the second consecutive year.
