Great conditions at the Laser North! We had NNE breeze ranging from 9-18. The course was located right off the USMMA pier and we only had to make minimal mark adjustments. This allowed us to snap off races and finish all 14 races in one day. We had a lunch break ashore after race 6 then went back out for the 8 remaining races. We had a few classic laser breakdowns(boom blocks ripped out, gudgeon ripped out, mast break) resulting in BKD points being awarded.
The top 6 sailors qualified for the Carl Van Duyne on October 7-8, 2017 being hosted by USMMA.
