A light north-northwesterly and perfect late summer temperatures greeted the 75th Pine Trophy fleet. Peak wind speed today was only around 10 knots with a majority of the races being sailed in 5 to 8. The northwester held on throughout the day. Only one race had to be abandoned due to a lengthy left shift and lack of wind. The ebb current began in earnest shortly before noontime and was a major factor in nearly every upwind leg. Ten races were completed around W4 racecourses. The average race duration was between 18 and 20 minutes.
The warning signal for Race 11 is planned for 1000 tomorrow.
Sunday started out with breeze just at the minimum for planning in the J70's. The northerly held on and remained somewhat steady in direction as it diminished down to 6 to 8 for the final race. Races 11 through 16 were completed on W4 racecourses with a duration of about 20 minutes each.
Special Thanks to the Offshore Bears for helping out with RC and Markboat duties throughout the weekend.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
