Competitors arrived at 1200 to the newly completed Doyle Sailing Center at Eckerd College. The wind still looked spotty so everyone waited ashore. About an hour later, a light southerly started to fill. Eckerd's A division was sent out as a wind guinea pig. It looked good, so the rest of the fleet was sent out on the water. As the RC tried to set the course, the wind pulled right and became a west, southwest wind. 2 A races were completed in a 4-6 knot wind. As the fleet rotated, the wind also rotated to the right again. 2 more B races were completed in a west, northwest wind of about 8 knots. As the boats rotated, the wind finally settled into it's usual northwest direction. 4 more races in each division were completed. The wind continued to increase and was at times pushing 12 knots, until the final 2 races when it began to subside. Thanks to all schools that made the trip. Thanks to all the Tritons for helping to run a great regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
