We started with nearly perfect sailing conditions for Mystic Lake. 8 to 12 knots from the South-Southwest with minimal shifts. During race 3B, the wind started to die. We finished the race with about 5 knots of breeze. We started race 4B but abandoned the race before the first rounding because the wind had dropped to zero. We'll restart race 4B on Sunday morning.
Courses were windward-leeward with an offset windward mark and gated leeward mark. We completed four legs during the first race in each set, finishing downwind, and five legs during the second race, finishing upwind and close to the boathouse.
We started the day with a 5 knot breeze from the West. The wind then shifted to the North and built slightly. All courses were 4-leg windward leewards with downwind finishes. The courses were perfect for any spectators on the boathouse deck because they had a great view of the start/finish line. Overall it was a very successful event.
