Day one of the 2016 Navy Fall Women's Regatta started rainy with light winds and stayed that way all day. The breeze was 2-8 knots out of the east north east. The race committee comprised of midshipmen led by PRO Michael Madigan ran 9 races on a trapezoid course. One protest was filed and heard by Dave Clinnin, Charles Higgins, and Michael Collins that resulted in a DSQ.
The wind we were waiting for on day one finally arrived in force for day 2 of the 2016 Navy Fall Women's. The breeze started at sustained 16 knots and slowly built all day until B division finished the regatta in sustained 22 knots gusting as high as 30. The decision was made to pull the fleet of FJs and have both A and B take turns sailing the Z420s alongside C division in Radials. Special guest PRO Gavin O'Hare ran 5 races for each division to complete the regatta. A big thanks to our team of midshipmen for setting marks, fixing breakdowns and rescuing several capsized boats. Two breakdowns were filed and granted, and one protest was filed that was disallowed. Congratulations to Yale for their victory at this year's Navy Fall Women's.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
