Great day of racing at the KPDO! We sailed W-4 courses all day and completed 12 races in each division. Wind was from the East ranging from 6-20 at times. After 10 races A and B division switched fleets and we sailed two more races ending with 12B at 1530.
We heard two protests during the lunch break and 1 after racing. Tomorrow we have a long list of protests to get through before we start racing. Thank you to Adam Werblow and Jack Swikart for helping with protests today and Max Plarr and Max Kurland for helping move marks.
Report time is 0900. See the techscore notice board for protest schedule.
We started the day with protest hearings from yesterday's racing, 3 were disallowed and 1 resulted in a DSQ.
The light but steady Easterly breeze allowed us to start racing around 1030. The RC set the course well away from land just north of Fort Totten to give the east wind some runway. We sailed 1 race a piece in this direction then the wind shifted to a NNE direction and became lighter. We were able to sail two more races in each division and then the breeze shut off ending the regatta with 15 races.
Thank you to the multiple coaches for helping hear protests and with course adjustments.
Congratulations to GTN on winning the 2016 Kings Point Dinghy Open!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
