Races started at 11 AM and wind started out 6-8 kts West. The wind slowly built up to 14 kts around midday shifting to the Northwest. It was a nice warm 78 F day and we finished 6 races in A Division and 4 in B Division. We ran a windward leeward course with a restricted line and a leeward gate. This regatta is dedicated to introducing first and second year sailors. We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
Races were postponed today until 11:15 AM due to low wind. However, the rest of the day picked up to 9 kts gusting 12. The wind shifted from West to Northwest again on a 73F day. Rotation B started out the day and ended up with 4 B races and 2 A races. We ended early around 2PM and handed out awards. USC won with a total of 48 points but was followed closely by UC Berkeley with 52 points.
