Great conditions on the Thames today for the ten races completed in each division. A north-northeasterly breeze that ranged from 8-16 knots remained steady enough to warrant very slight course changes throughout the day. A strong outgoing current was in play until about 3pm keeping competitors off the line. When it tapered, multiple general recalls and individual recalls under the I-Flag ensued. All courses were trapezoids.
Thank you to Peter Bailey, Bob Austin-LaFrance, and Quentin Chaffe for hearing multiple protests and requests for redress. Two DSQs were handed out and one request for redress was granted.
First start at 10:00 tomorrow.
Day two of the Danmark far exceeded expectations based on the forecast. Five races in each division were completed in a northeasterly that slowly went left throughout the day to a northwesterly. Breeze ranged from 4-12 knots. All courses were trapezoids.
Thank you to the Coast Guard undergrads for helping run a fantastic event. Tom Kiesel, Liam Ballantyne, Leah Schweigert-Opas, Emma Compagnoni, Philip Whittlesey, and Derek Silliman worked diligently all weekend to keep the course square and the proper length. Bob Austin-LaFrance and Peter Bailey were on the water all weekend and though there were no protests today, they were quite busy on Saturday evening. Thank you for volunteering your time!
Congratulations to the Yale Bulldogs for winning the 2016 Danmark Trophy!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
