The first day of the 2016 Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men's Singlehanded Championship was a wet one. We set a course in the mouth of the Severn River, just inside Tolley Point. Four W4 races were held before lunch and four additional races were held after lunch. The rain was steady all day and the wind ranged from 6-12 knots out of the NE. David Clinnin was on the water enforcing rule 42. No protests, breakdowns or requests for redress were filed.
It was windy on Sunday. North 18-30 knots. We sailed the final 6 races with 2 breakdowns. Congratulations to the top 4 for advancing to ICSA Men's Singlehanded Nationals and to Greg Martinez for winning the Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men's Singlehanded Championship.
The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
