As racing kicked off quickly Wednesday we were greeted with a brisk northerly wind and a cold dark skies only broken by a few scattered showers. With the wind at a consistent 15-18 knots, peaking at 20 intermittently, throughout the day Race Committee was able to get 8 exciting races off in both A and B fleets. Racing on the second day was accompanied by some momentary sunshine, and slightly lighter winds. Another big thank you to the race committee for finishing the full rotation in a timely manner. After a hard fought battle, between Wisconsin and Tulane, Tulane came out of its final protest victorious. The regatta was scored out to fifth place, with Texas A&M in fifth, Ohio State University in fourth, Ohio University in third, University of Wisconsin Madison taking second, and Tulane University winning the event. Low point skipper and crew awards were awarded to Malcolm Kriegel (Tulane B crew), Jessica Oswalt (Tulane B skipper), Katie Hall (Wisconsin A crew), and Whitney Kent (Wisconsin A skipper).
