Things started off fine with a 10 knot northerly breeze as the forecast predicted. But by noon things went south, literally and figuratively. It started to get light and extremely shifty with a 180 degree shift to the south over the course of an hour. Unfortunately for A division, they were on the water the whole time. We managed to get the 3rd and 4th B races off before the breeze shifted back to the east and shut off for the day. RWU undergrads Ginny Yeatts and Nicole Gambacorta helped with Race Committee duties. Thanks to Ken Legler for taking photos and helping with the course adjustments.
The breeze blew from the SW all day. We cranked out twice as many races as yesterday in the same amount of time despite some boat breakdowns. Races were either a Course 4 or Course 5.
Undergrad Sam Dorothy did triple duty of sailing, helping with the RC work, and sprung into action (and into the water) to help with a capsized boat. Ginny Yeatts again helped with RC, and with the many breakdowns we saw over the course of they day.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
