SAISA Open

Summary

Saturday, September 12:

Gold cups and windward-leeward courses were used to score 9 races for both divisions in SW winds ranging from 6-18 MPH. SAISA sailors saw the maximum ebb and flood tides which created dynamic racing in the Cooper River in front of the USS Yorktown. No breakdowns or protests were filed. Thanks to the team of Cougars for keeping it fair and square.

Sunday, September 13:

Capricious winds from the west to northwest between 3-17 MPH coupled with a strong ebb tide created another great day on the Cooper River. Ten races were completed using Gold Cups and W4s before 3PM. No protests or breakdowns were filed. Thanks to the team of Cougars for managing the races and congratulations to the College of Charleston for winning the 2015 SAISA Open.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
