NEISA Women's Singlehanded Championships

Sailors arrived to NNE winds sustained at 27mph, gusting into low 30s. Postponed ashore indefinitely. Breeze increased as tide came in. Racing canceled for the day at 3p with sustained wins above 30mph and gusts above 35mph.

For the fourth consecutive day, the breeze was up out of the NE to start the day - sustained at 28-32mph, gusting into the mid to upper 30s, forcing a short postponement. Finally at 11a, the breeze started to back off and racing began at 11:30 in NE wind at 25mph, with puffs into the low 30s. Six races were sailed and the top four pulled away early, leaving the fifth and final berth for Singlehanded Nationals up for grabs into the last race. Congratulations to Brown University's Lindsey Baab '18 on a perfect event, winning every race from start to finish.
