Beautiful skies and warm temps greeted sailors at MSM this morning however not accompanied by any breeze. The predicted SSW breeze and a northerly fought for control with the SSW winning around 11:30. It was shifty all day at about 5-7 with a few higher puffs. Beautiful sailing. Course 4's and 5's made for lead changes most of the day. Two teams protested each other and after much dileberation McGill was DSQ'd. They appealed and coaches reheard the protest ruling no fault on either party. Please insure you have checked the rotation, and don't forget to fill out the RP forms tonight.
Tomorrow breeze is predicted to be the same direction with greater strength, warmer temps and another great day of sailing. Thanks to MSM for allowing UNH to host the NE Fall Tournament here. Don't forget to turn your clocks back tonight.
A fantastic day of sailing. What a great weekend at a great venue. Teams arrived to SSW breeze which oscillated all day both in direction and velocity - highest puffs by the end of the day were in the 16 range, with most of the day 8-12. Several breakdowns occurred in the breeze today and NEISA rep and MSM coach Andrew Kirk managed all shore replacements with his off set MSM sailors insuring teams left the dock as quickly as possible. Remember to follow ICSA procedures when filing protests. One protest resulted in a DSQ. Several teams hit marks or the RC boat with no exoneration please remember your ethical responsibilities.
Spectators on shore were treated to a 5 leg duel in the last race of the day between UNH and MSM who battled it out with MSM winning literally by maybe 6 inches or less. Exhausted sailors congratulated each other for their performances. Great sportsmanship was displayed by both in dicey situations.
Thanks to Andrew Kirk and other coaches who heard protests, and to the MSM team for all their help and allowing UNH to host the NE Fall Tournament there. Thanks also to UNH sailor Noah Stern for running the mark boat and learning lots.
Congratulations to MSM for winning the 2015 NE Fall Tournament.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
