It was a beautiful fall day in Annapolis for the first day of the Navy Fall Women's Regatta. The wind started out from the NE at 10-20 knots and was really puffy and shifty for the first 3 race set. The course was set in the Severn River off the Robert Crown Center and we sailed a River Trapezoid, where the second beat was set off to the right of the first beat. After a short break, the fleet returned for three more races, but the wind was lighter, around 5-12, but still puffy and shifty. After another short break, the wind got very light and we reset the course in the harbor off Triton Point. After a few races were started and called back, we were able to complete one more A and B race. PRO Juniet Thompson, with help from Rick Sellars and a team of Midshipmen did a great job making the most out of a challenging day. A huge thanks to Adam Werblow, John Pearce and Mitch Hall for hearing redress and breakdown requests.
Sunday was another beautiful day in Annapolis, but it was not a very windy day. The fleet headed out at 9:30 to a light 3-5 knot Northwesterly and races 7C and 8A were started and then abandoned when the wind died completely. After a long delay on shore, the fleet headed out again at 1230. The wind then filled in from the Southeast at 3-5 knots and a course was set off Triton Point. We were able to sail 4 C division races and 3 for A and B, all on trapezoid courses for 10 total races per division. Congratulations to Georgetown for winning the 2015 Navy Fall Women's Regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
