It was a crazy first day of the McGill Cup. Sailors arrived and were greeted by cold temperatures and rain that turned into the first snowfall of the year. After postponing on land for some time due to a lack of breeze, sailors persevered through some shifty and inconsistent wind. A Fleet managed to get in 2 races before hail and a squall forced the fleet to the docks for the day.
B Fleet will be first on the water on Sunday. Report time will be 9:30 AM.
Another icy October day in Montreal. We started racing with a light 5-7 knot breeze that progressively built to around 8-10 knots as the day continued. The typical shiftiness and strong current kept the racing interesting on beautiful Lake St. Louis. We luckily escaped the day with just two short snow falls despite the just above freezing temperatures.
Thank you to all the competitors, coaches and volunteers who made the 2015 McGill cup a success. We hope to see everyone back next year. Stay warm!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
