Saturday dawned with little to no breeze for the first event in UPENN and VILLANOVA's brand new fleet of Z420 for MAISA Club Champs. After a brief delay, racing got underway in a 5knt westerly with the tail end of the flood tide. Racing continued throughout the day in 5-10 knts from the W to the NW. PRO Skip Swikart was able to get off 8 A and 6 B races. Skip's RC team of Rob Floyd and Will Joumas (Nova '15) keep the marks boats manned by Corinthian Yacht Club members Jon Sauer, Djoerd Hoekstra, and Art Bell moving and the course square to both the wind and the increasing ebb tide. Racing will begin tomorrow at 9:25 am.
Sunday gave the Race Committee very challenging conditions with which to complete the Club Championships Regatta. The wind was from the N at 7 knts but with big and prolonged ossicillations to both directions. Two B and two A races were completed before things got "sporty". Multiple attempts were given to start race 9B which included at least 3 abandonments, before the race was completed. Unfortunately race 10B just wasn't in the cards with the breeze being as spotty and shifty as it was so we lost race 10A. Great job by our RC team this weekend and a big thanks to the Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia for being such a generous host. Congratulations to University of Virginia for capturing the 2015 MAISA Club Championship.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
