Saturday aof the Faye Bennet was a true test for the women of MAISA in Laser Radials. Temperatures stayed int eh low 70s under cloudy skies. The wind came from the NE at 18-22 all day and the course was set in the mouth of the Severn River near Tolly Point. Waves picked up to the 4-5 foot range by mid afternoon and all W4 races took around 25 minutes. PRO Juliet Thompson did a great job running fair races with help from Rick Sellars, Brittney Slook and members of the Navy Sailing Team. David Clinnin was on the water all day judging.
The weather Sunday was similar to the day before and the course was set int the same location. The wind started out at around 15 knots from the NE, but slowly shifted left and decreased as the day went on, finishing up at around 8-10 knots. Six more races were completed. Congratulations to the top four sailors who have advanced to the ICSA Singlehanded Nationals!
The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
