Saturday started with wind from the north/northwest at 8-12 knots. There were large waves coming perpendicularly into shore from the north. A competitors meeting with 7 teams was held at 0900 and the first race started promptly at 1000. The course used was an L4. The first set was sailed in these conditions. Each following set had fewer waves and less wind until the last set of the day when it topped out at 5 knots. Sailing continued until 1700, and the race committee and mark set got in 4 great sets (8 races) in each division with continuous persistent wind throughout, completing the rotation and eliminating the need for racing on Sunday. There was one protest, which was upheld, resulting in the offending team being thrown out of the race. Special thanks to Cappy Capper, Terry and Patti McMahon for judging. The regatta ended with Wisconsin winning with 22 points.
