Despite the rainy conditions the sailing was quite good on the first day of the Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta. Winds were NNW 8-12mph. Courses were windward leeward twice around with gates. Racing was held in the Washington Sailing Marina Lagoon. 8A and 8B races were completed. One breakdown was awarded for a broken jib halyard shackle. Three protests were heard resulting in one DSQ.
Racing was coming completed in a dying NE wind. Three A and Three B races were sailed in the Washington Sailing Marina Lagoon. One collision resulted in a DSQ. Many thanks to Alex Post, Katia DaSilva, Sean Golden and Dan DelBello for helping to run the races.
