Stu Nelson

Summary

Saturday, October 25:

The event started with a meeting about who Stu Nelson was, Matt Lindblad of MIT added a few words. The Sailing was delayed until the WNW breeze filled. It was a tough day with only 6 races in each division. No Protests heard, some boats retired to avoid the protest room.

A big Thank you to Yale for loaning us a boat to replace the damaged FJ. CGA loaned an umpire boat and a RC boat to enhance the sailing.

Sunday, October 26:

Better Breeze today. WNW 5-18. We completed 5 races in each division for a total of nine races in each division. Many collisions with no spinning made it a frustrating day for the host. One Rule 69 protest was filed and all parties agreed that retiring from the race was the best solution with an apology.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
