Saturday, October 18: Day 1 at the OCC Open Regatta started with a light SW breeze at 8-12 knots. As the day went on the breeze clocked farther right to a solid westerly direction for a better part of the day at about 10-18 knots. We raced 20 races. There were 4 protests heard with one disqualification. Courses sailed were W-4s with an offset and a gate. Thanks to the OCC alumni for taking care of the marks and did a fine job of adjusting to the shifty winds Thanks go to June Kingman, John Brown and Rich Proko for hearing the 4 protests.
Sunday, October 19: Sunday started with a puffy Northwest breeze at 14-18 knots. We started race 11A . The puffs were coming in at 22-26 After sailing one rotation both A and B the race Committee called the regatta due to excessive winds and unsafe conditions. Congratulations to St Mary’s for winning the OCC fall Open. Many thanks to the OCC sailing club for helping with the race management. Pro Rich Proko and Chief Judge June Kingman

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
