Gnarly NNE breeze at 20-30 knots with rain and heavily overcast skies made for a perfect late October setting. BU Sailors Joe Benoit and Nicole Lukas won the tie breaker after four races with Fireflies in the waning evening light. Lots of swimming was on tap for those who did not get their weight aft far enough before the whammies hit them. Water temps are still in the mid 50s but dropping precipitously as the sun only reflects from the surface now.
Lots of fun and special thanks to Patrick Barrigan and David Alfonso from MIT who assisted as safety boat.
