Race started at 10:30 in a shifty 5-10 knot North Easterly with A division in Z420's and B in FJ's. Two races were completed then a very nice ESE filled in and built to a solid 15 knots and a tricky large chop. 10 Races were completed sailing only W4's. There were a few general recalls. The I flag was used in all races. The wind backed off in race 9 for the FJ's then began to rain. The breeze shifted back left, stay light and kept on raining.
Our judges were Marlena Fauer, Will Fledman and Max Nickbarg all of the class of '14. Elizabeth Barry was our fourth judge (Brown '11). No Protests were filed. Two breakdown request's were filed resulting in average points. One was a main halyard issue on an FJ and the other was a broken jib wire on the Z420. And Thanks to the Yale undergrad team for helping out especially to Astrid Pacini for doing a hard day in RC and Sarah Smith for scoring. Additional thanks go out to Connecticut College for the use of their whaler as a coach boat and to Justin Assad for being the ICSA rep and to the competitors for really making the parking a non issue. The fleets will switch boats tomorrow with the first warning at 10:15
Teams were met with a promising looking northerly breeze of 10 knots or so. A division headed out and sailed two races in the tricky breeze. As B Division left the dock the breeze began to decrease in velocity. They sailed one race. As A Division started and began sailing their third race of the day the breeze became unstable and the race was abandoned. They were sent in for their lunch break. A second B Division race was started but was soon abandoned and B division was sent in as well. The fleets waited ashore for the seabreeze to fill which showed some small promise a 2:30 pm. B Division was told to head out but was sent back in with the course glassing off. Courses today were W 3's and 4's. Two redresses were heard overturning "BYE's" to BKD with average points for the day awarded. We must thank the following for allowing this to be a fair and fun event. Judges Elizabeth Barry, Marlena Fauer, Max Nickbarg and Will Fledman. And Connecticut College for the Coach boat and to Justin Assad who held the distinguished position of ICSA Representative and to the Coast guard Academy who supplied spare 420 Jibs which were luckily not needed. And a bigger thank you goes to the participants of this regatta for understanding and helping with our parking needs. Congratulation to the Big Green for winning the Harry H. Anderson Trophy for the first time in 20 years!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
