Central Fall Qualifer

Summary

Saturday, September 20:

Sailors were welcomed to Washington College for the Central Fall Qualifier to no wind. After the Competitors meeting races were postponed untill 10:15. 4-6 knot winds out of the East allowed W4's to be run for most of the day. Some shifty conditions caused Race Committee to have to move the course between East and ESE with some lulls and higher wind conditions. 6 races were completed in each division and racing ended at 4:45 PM for the day. Washington College hosted our Waterfront Festival, Cardboard Race, and it's annual crab fest supporting ALS. Many thanks to the tremendous job done by the student body across all aspects of these events. Especially thanks to the Washington College Sailing Team for running a great first day of this regatta. Hope for the same or better conditions tomorrow.

Sunday, September 21:

After waiting around all morning with no wind in sight or predicted Race Committee interviewed all teams and came to the conclusion that no more racing could be completed for the day. Day 2 was canceled. Good luck to the teams that qualified for WAR and LUCE.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
